Donovan Mitchell and Mangok Mathiang back in Louisville

Former University of Louisville guard Donovan Mitchell and former Louisville center Mangok Mathiang were back in Louisville on Saturday, signing autographs at Dicks Sporting Goods in St. Matthews.

Mitchell was drafted 13th overall in this year’s NBA draft and will suit up for the Utah Jazz this season. Mathiang played for the Charlotte Hornets summer league team and has since signed a two-way contract with the North Carolina team. That contract splits his time between the NBA and the NBA G-League.

The pair are two fan favorites from UofL and were both happy to be home and interacting with Card Nation.

The guys of course got to hang out with their former teammates too. They also got an early look at the upcoming roster and said the 2017-18 team will be long, athletic and as tight-knit of a group as ever before.
