DERBY 142 | A hometown favorite looking for his first Derby win

05/06/2016 05:11 PM

Brody’s Cause is the latest chance for Louisville Native Dale Roman’s to pick up a Kentucky Derby Win. The three year old colt most recently grabbed a win in the Bluegrass Stakes at Keeneland Race Track in Lexington. Brody’s Cause is also the only horse in the Derby field with two Grade 1 wins other than Derby favorite Nyquist, and Romans believes his Derby contender is getting stronger every day.

After a half-dozen shots at the garland of roses, Romans feels Brody’s Cause could finally be the horse that wins the Derby for the hometown trainer.
