"Cuban Missle" to rehab with the Louisville Bats

Aroldis Chapman, nicknamed the Cuban Missle, is slated to start Tuesday night for the Louisville Bats when they take on Norfolk at Slugger Field. Game time is set for 6:35 p.m.

Chapman is on rehab assignment after he was struck by a line drive during spring training. Chapman pitched last week for Class A Dayton before heading to Louisville.

“He’ll pitch a couple times for Louisville and then meet us back here when we come off the road,” Manager Brian Price told Cincinnatireds.com. If all goes as planned, Chapman will start and pitch one inning on Tuesday, work one inning of relief on Wednesday then join the Reds in Cincinnati as they open a weekend series with the Colorado Rockies.

The 26-year-old lefty flame thrower is a two-time NL All-Star, saving 38 games the last two seasons for the Reds
