Clint Hurtt Notified By NCAA

University of Louisville assistant coach Clint Hurtt has received a notice of allegations from the NCAA, a UofL spokesman told Yahoo Sports’ Pat Forde Wednesday morning.
Hurtt, who recruited 2013 Heisman Trophy candidate Teddy Bridgewater to UofL from Miami, has been under scrutiny for his stint as an assistant coach at the University of Miami from 2007-09.
CBS Sports.com reported last month that Hurtt was on the verge of being notified by the NCAA, but that was delayed due to unethical conduct by the NCAA in its investigation. At that time, CBS Sports.com reported that Hurtt was expected to be informed of “hefty allegations” stemming from the NCAA’s investigation of rogue booster Nevin Shapiro and the Hurricanes’ athletic department.
UofL did not get into specifics of the allegations with Forde, although WDRB.com’s Eric Crawford confirmed that none of the violations occured during Hurtt’s time at Louisville.
We will have more on this story as it develops.
