Cards Crush Cougars
01/16/2014 09:12 PM

It was a game over early, like within the first 7 minutes. Louisville scored first, and scored often, blowing past the Houston Cougars 91-52.
Wayne Blackshear came off the bench to lead all scorers with 23 points but the big story was the Card’s three point shooting. In the first half UofL made 11 of 15 shots from behind the arc. That is 73.3% and that is insane.
With the win the 18th ranked Cardinals improve to 15-3, 4-1 in the AAC while Houston falls to 10-7 and 2-2 in conference. We’ll see if Louisville can maintain its mojo. The Cards have a quick turnaround playing at Connecticut Saturday at 9 pm.
