Terry Rozier had a game high 23 points, 9 coming from behind the three point arc, and Montrezl Harrell added 16 points, as 5th ranked Louisville beat Long Beach State 63-48.

It was only 20-19 Cardinals in the first half, when UofL went on a 14-oh run to end the half. The Cardinals were pretty much in control the rest of the game, although the 49ers did cut the lead to just 9 in the final 3 minutes. However Louisville weathered the storm, scoring the game’s final 6 points for the final 15 point margin.

With the win, Louisville improves to 12-1 on the season while Long Beach State falls to 5-10. The Cards next game is also their ACC opener, Sunday at 8pm ET at Wake Forest.
