Brian Brohm talks beginnings at Purdue and "containing" Lamar Jackson

07/24/2017 10:48 AM

Brian Brohm is entering his second season as a college football coach, this year it’s as the quarterbacks coach and co-offensive coordinator at Purdue under his brother Jeff Brohm.

The Boilermakers have a history of fantastic quarterbacks that went on to NFL success, and the Brohms are hoping to bring the program back to national relevance.

The season starts with a very tough opponent though. Purdue opens the 2017 schedule with a neutral site game against Louisville on September 2. As an alumnus, Brian Brohm is excited to test his new team against his alma mater, but knows Purdue will have its hands full trying to contain the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Lamar Jackson.
