The pads are on, there are no more split practices, and Bobby Petrino’s Cardinals are just 25 days away from there season opening game against Auburn. Coach Petrino has now had a few days to analyze his team, and says they are right where they need to be. That does not mean there isn’t room for improvement. Petrino noted that it is a young team, and there are experience gaps at the offensive line and wide receiver positions, but despite some minor deficiencies, Petrino is happy with the effort level and improvements he has seen in his team.
