The Inaugural Louisville Regatta Grand Prix takes place this weekend on the Ohio River near Louisville’s Waterfront Park.

This weekend’s event will be the third race of the IOGP F1 ChampBoat Championship series this season.

The event will allow fans to see the International Outboard Grand Prix (IOGP) Powerboats race each other.

The power boats have a top speed of roughly 150 miles per hour.

IOGP President Mike Schriefer and Louisville Sports Commission Vice President of Sports Development Greg Fante joined Andrew Chernoff on Sports Night Wednesday to preview the event, which begins on Friday:

Tickets are already available and cost as little as $15. For more information, visit LouisvilleGrandPrix.com.
