Bluegrass Players Named To Mackey Award Watchlist

Two UofL tight ends have been named to the John Mackey Award Watch List; Jordan Davis and Micky Crum. UK’s C.J. Conrad was also named to the list.

Crum is a junior from Columbus, Ohio and appeared in only eight games afterbeing injured last season. He caught one pass for seven yards in Louisville’s season opener versus Charlotte after catching 14 passes for 163 yards and three scores in 2015.

Davis, a transfer from Texas A&M, sat out last season after joining the Cardinals’ program last fall. In one season for the Aggies in 2015, Davis saw action in 11 games, catching two passes for seven yards, including a three-yard touchdown reception.

Conrad, a junior, started 11 games for the Wildcats in 2016. Conrad was named the Mackey tight end of the week after his career day versus New Mexico State and was named to the John Mackey Award Midseason Watch List.

The John Mackey Award has been presented since 2000.
