The Bellarmine women’s basketball team has high expectations heading into the regular season.

The Knights are ranked ninth in the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) NCAA Division II Preseason Top 25 Coaches’ Poll.

Bellarmine is the highest-ranked team from the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the WBCA poll.

Last season, the Knights went 24-4 overall, which included a GLVC Tournament championship.

The top six leading scorers from last season are all playing for the Knights again this year.

Bellarmines’ first game will be November 11th against Ferris St. in Big Rapids, MI.
