BELLARMINE MEN'S BASKETBALL | Knights Ready to Host Bellarmine Classic

The No. 6 Bellarmine men’s basketball team hosts the Bellarmine Classic on Friday and Saturday inside Knights Hall.

Three other schools will me making the trip to Louisville to take part in the event, No. 24 Southern Indiana, Kentucky St. and Martin Methodist College.

The first game of the tournament tips-off Friday at 5 p.m. ET between Southern Indiana and Martin Methodist.

Meanwhile, BU has to wait until 7:30 p.m. ET Friday to begin its first game of the weekend, when it faces off against Kentucky St.

Another pair of games is then scheduled for Saturday.

Friday’s contest though between Kentucky St. and Bellarmine will be the first time since 2004 that the two intrastate rivals have played each other.

The Knights (8-1) are entering the weekend riding an eight-game winning streak.
