BASKETBALL | Globetrotter Visits Louisville School

01/10/2017 07:30 PM

Harlem Globetrotter basketball player Orlando “El Gato” Melendez stopped by Louisville’s Walden School on Tuesday afternoon.

Melendez spoke to kids in the school gymnasium, telling them his story and the story of the Harlem Globetrotters.

Of course, he also showed off his basketball skills in front of the kids, which led to loud cheers and a lot of clapping.

The Globetrotters play inside the KFC Yum! Center Friday night. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET.

cn|2 Sports’ Andrew Chernoff caught up with Melendez after the event inside the Walden School’s gymnasium:
