Prior to the 2017-2018 basketball season, Aspire Basketball Academy moved its location from Arizona to Louisville, Ky.

Aspire Basketball Academy is a basketball-centered college prep school.

“The vision of Aspire Basketball Academy is to use the game of basketball as a vehicle to inspire, develop, and cultivate future community leaders with the core academic and leadership skills to prepare them for life beyond their time with us,” according to the program’s Web site.

In the Wizards’ first season in Louisville, the team is 8-4 overall.

This week, they are taking part in a tournament in Orlando, Fl., beginning Monday afternoon.

Michael Kipness, co-founder, president of operations and associate coach of the Wizards, stopped by the Sports Night studio on Monday to talk about the season so far:

Andrew Chernoff
