AD Tom Jurich to announce plans for Papa John's Cardinal Stadium expansion

Thursday night, University of Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich announced plans for an expanded Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The initial announcement was made to group members of a University of Louisville booster club, but Jurich along side Bobby Petrino will hold a press conference tomorrow morning to make the announcement official.

Jonathan Blue, a member of the aforementioned booster club, revealed a few of the proposed expansion details via twitter. The building plans include closing the horseshoe of the stadium to create a bowl, building new field level club suites, and improved fan club facilities.

Tom Jurich’s press conference will be tomorrow at 11:00am, and cn2 will continue to follow this story as it develops.
