U of L has released its 2011-12 basketball schedule . It’s definitely the most challenging slate the Cards have put together during the Rick Pitino era. Non-conference foes Kentucky, Vanderbilt and Memphis are projected to be in the Top 10, and the ‘Ville will also travel to Butler on Nov. 19.
The Big East slate features a home-and-home with Syracuse and Pittsburgh along with trips to Marquette and Cincinnati along with a visit from defending national champ UConn on Feb. 6.
