ACC contenders separating themselves late in the season

At 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the ACC, Louisville is out of contention for the ACC Atlantic division crown. But after 11 weeks of the college football season, the Cards appear to be one of only a handful of teams that do not fall into the “pretenders” category.

UofL impressed with a 38-19 win at Boston College, Georgia Tech followed suit with a blowout win against NC State, Duke handled its business with a win at Syracuse and Florida State reigned supreme over Virginia.
