The Kentucky Country Day football team is on a roll this season. The Bearcats are undefeated on the season with a perfect 5-0 record. In fact, they have outscored their last three opponents by a combined 155 to six. As a result of their success this year, the Bearcats are ranked third in this week’s AP Class A Poll. The Ballard High School football team is building momentum as the season continues. The Bruins, who lost their first two games of the season, have won their last two games. The West Jessamine Colts may want to rename themselves the West Jessamine “Cardiac” Colts. After losing their regular season opener against Lloyd Memorial last month, West Jessamine has won its last two games by a combined two points. The Warren East Raiders have been named this week’s “High School Team of the Week.” The Raiders are on a two-game winning streak to open the season, one of which is a come-from-behind victory over Greenwood last week.
