The WKU Men’s Basketball team has faced it’s share of challenges this season. From the departure of freshman five-star Mitchell Robinson, to eligibility issues with freshman guard Josh Anderson and redshirt sophomore transfer Moustapha Diange, the Hilltoppers have battled adversity this year. WKU Basketball Grinds Out 75-63 Win Over FAU

WKU ATHLETICS | Videoboard Upgrades Getting Ready to Begin on The Hill

WKU Athletics announced on Thursday that the videoboards at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium and E.A. Diddle Arena will undergo renovations this spring. The renovations will “increase the size of the viewing area by nearly 400 percent.” “We are very excited for these major upgrades to the fan experience at our two largest venues for next season,” said Director of Athletics Todd Stewart in a press release. WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Wrap Up Recruiting Class of 2018

The WKU football program announced 10 more signees to its recruiting class of 2018 on Wednesday. Thirteen recruits had already previously signed with Western Kentucky during December’s early signing period. “The ink’s drying on what I believe to be a historic signing class and a historic day for Western Kentucky football,” said head coach Mike Sanford in a press release. WKU SOFTBALL | Lady Toppers Ready for 2018 Season

The WKU softball team is getting ready to begin its 2018 regular season later this week. The Lady Toppers are coming off a 31-31 season in which they finished 10-13 in Conference USA play. This year’s Western Kentucky team is young, but that is not concerning to head coach Amy Tudor: WKU opens up the regular season on Friday with a doubleheader in Boiling Springs, N.C., where it will face Hampton at 12 p.m. ET and Gardner-Webb at 4 p.m. ET. Read more

The WKU men’s basketball team is getting ready to play the Marshall Thundering Herd on Saturday evening. The Hilltoppers (14-6, 6-1) are coming off a 66-62 loss to Middle Tennessee last weekend. Meanwhile, Marshall (14-6, 5-2) enters the game riding a two-game winning streak. WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Announce 2018 Regular Season Schedule

The WKU football program announced its 2018 regular season schedule on Tuesday. The schedule features five home games and seven away games for the Hilltoppers. The 2018 Hilltoppers will open the season on Friday, Aug. 31 in Madison, Wi., where they will take on the Big Ten’s Wisconsin Badgers. Two weeks later, on Saturday, Sept. 15, they face Louisville inside Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. it will be the first time the two programs have faced each other since 1998. WKU Basketball falls to MTSU 66-62

WKU (14-6, 6-1 Conference USA) fulfilled its season-long charge of selling out E.A. Diddle Arena. The standing room only crowd got its money worth as the Hilltoppers and their bitter rival, MTSU (14-5, 6-1, Conference USA) left everything on the court. The Tops led the way most of the first half.
