Louisville women’s basketball’s historic 2017-2018 season came to an end on Friday night in the Final Four. The No. 1-seeded Cards (36-3) fell in overtime to the No. 1-seeded Mississippi St. Bulldogs (37-1) in their national semifinal match-up. The final score was 73-63. UofL BASKETBALL | Asia Durr Named to WBCA Coaches' All-America Team

Louisville guard Asia Durr received a major accolade on Thursday evening. Durr was named one of 10 players selected to the 2018 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America team. Durr becomes only the second Louisville player ever to earn WBCA Coaches’ All-American team honors. Angel McCoughtry was named to the team in 2006-2007, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009. Today, the Louisville football program hosted their annual Pro Day at the Trager Center. 21 former Cardinals worked out in front of scouts from all 32 NFL teams, including Pittsburgh Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin. UofL BASKETBALL | Chris Mack Named Louisville MBB Head Coach

The “Chris Mack Era” has officially started at the University of Louisville. The school announced on Wednesday that Chris Mack has been named the head coach of the UofL men’s basketball program. Mack has been the head coach of the Xavier Musketeers since the 2009-2010 season. He has led Xavier to a 215-97 (.689) record during those nine seasons. Former University of Louisville senior guard Quentin Snider has been chosen to participate in the annual Dos Equis 3X3U National Championship in San Antonio, Texas March 30 – April 1. The event pits 32 four-man teams against one another. The teams consist of players from every Division I college basketball conference who have exhausted collegiate eligibility.
