WKU FOOTBALL | Current And Former Players Indicted From March Altercation

Attorney General Andy Beshear has announced that a Warren County grand jury has indicted seven current and former WKU football players. In the early morning hours of March 5, 2017, the players allegedly went to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house at Western Kentucky University and according to the police report, assaulted a now alumnus of the fraternity. WKU TRACK & FIELD | Hilltoppers preparing for East Region Prelims

The Western Kentucky Track and Field team will be well represented at the NCAA East Region Preliminaries this week. 10 student-athletes will go to the competition for a chance to earn a spot at the NCAA Outdoor Championship in Eugene, OR in June. The Western Kentucky football program held its annual spring game over the weekend, and despite some muggy conditions the Hilltoppers put on a show for the fans in attendance. The WKU men’s basketball team added another member to its 2017-2018 basketball roster this weekend. South Plains College’s Jordan Brangers made the announcement on Twitter this past weekend that he will be joining the Western Kentucky basketball program next season. Brangers was originally signed to play basketball at Texas Tech, but was able to switch his commitment to WKU based on family reasons. The Western Kentucky football program held its annual Pro Day on Monday at the team’s Houchens-Smith Stadium. Twenty-one former Hilltoppers showed off their skills in front of representatives from 26 different NFL teams. Those who took part in the Pro Day activities included 18 players on last year’s C-USA championship team.
