Thursday was a special day for the Louisville Men’s Soccer Team as the Cardinals signed a new player and held a press conference. The player’s name is David Turner. He is 6-years-old and has Grade 4 Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a brain stem tumor. On April 17, the family learned of David’s tumor and on the 24th he underwent a needle biopsy with a neurosurgery team. Louisville women’s basketball head coach Jeff Walz has agreed to a revised contract, which includes an extension through the 2024-2025 season. Details of the contract have not been released. The Louisville women’s basketball team will host Nebraska in this year’s ACC/Big Ten Challenge, the ACC announced on Monday. The game will be played on Thursday, Nov. 29 inside the KFC Yum! Center.
