Players from two Kentucky universities are named on the 2017 Manning Award preseason watch list. Western Kentucky quarterback Mike White and University of Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson are among the award’s initial 30 candidates. BOAT RACING | Inaugural Louisville Regatta GP This Weekend

The Inaugural Louisville Regatta Grand Prix takes place this weekend on the Ohio River near Louisville’s Waterfront Park. This weekend’s event will be the third race of the IOGP F1 ChampBoat Championship series this season. The event will allow fans to see the International Outboard Grand Prix (IOGP) Powerboats race each other. The power boats have a top speed of roughly 150 miles per hour. The Kentucky high school football regular season begins this week, and one of the teams in action will be the St. X Tigers. Last year, the Tigers went 10-4 overall, losing all four of their games to eventual state champions, whether Kentucky or Ohio state champs.
