WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Add Future Games to Schedule

The WKU football program has added four future non-conference games to its schedule. The Hilltoppers announced on Monday that three of those games will be played at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Western Kentucky will play a home-and-home series with Liberty beginning on Sept. 19, 2020 before traveling to Liberty for an away game in Lynchburg, Va. on Sept. 6, 2025. WKU football home games will each start at 7:30 p.m. ET this upcoming season. The Hilltoppers will play five home games this year inside Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Their home schedule begins on Sept. 8, when they host Maine. WKU BASKETBALL | Savage, Diagne Discuss Recent Belize Trip

WKU forward Moustapha Diagne and guard/forward Jared Savage are back in Bowling Green. The two recently spent 10 days in Belize during the month of May as part of a cultural exchange basketball trip through the Sports Reach sports ministry program. WKU FOOTBALL | Hilltoppers Add Michigan St., Alabama to Future Schedules

The WKU football program announced on Thursday that it will add both Michigan St. and Alabama to future schedules. WKU will go to East Lansing, Mich. for the first time in program history to face Michigan St. on Oct. 2, 2021. The Hilltoppers will then face Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Sept. 9, 2023. WKU FOOTBALL | QB Steven Duncan Arrested

Just hours after the Western Kentucky University Football Spring Game, WKU redshirt sophomore quarterback Steven Duncan was arrested. According to records at the Warren County Regional Jail, Duncan, 19, was booked at 2:43 a.m. central on April 22. Duncan was charged with DUI, failure to produce his insurance card and failure to use his headlights. The WKU football program is getting ready for its annual Red vs. White Spring Game on Saturday. The intrasquad match-up will begin at 3 p.m. ET (2 p.m. CT) inside Houchens Industries-L.T. Western Kentucky women’s basketball introduced Greg Collins as its 11th head coach in program history on Wednesday afternoon. Collins takes over for Michelle Clark-Heard, who left to become head coach of the Cincinnati women’s basketball program. Collins has spent the last six seasons on the WKU women’s basketball staff. During those six seasons, the Lady Toppers won four conference tournament championships and two more regular season championships. Western Kentucky Women’s Basketball Head Coach Michelle Clark-Heard is leaving WKU for the Cincinnati Lady Bearcats head coaching job. Reports surfaced Monday that she had interviewed at UC. According to the Bowling Green Daily News, Clark-Heard also interviewed with Ole Miss for their women’s basketball coaching vacancy. Heard has been WKU’s coach for six seasons with a 154-48 record.
