The Louisville football players are back and ready to go. The Cardinals reported for the start of camp on Wednesday, taking part in various meetings before having dinner as a team. The Louisville football team is getting closer and closer to holding its first fall practice. The Cards will hit the practice field for the first time on Monday. They learned recently that they have 10/1 odds to make the College Football Playoff, according to Bovada. UofL men’s soccer head coach Ken Lolla and his Cardinal program held the 7th annual “Kickin’ It for JT and Friends” clinic on Saturday afternoon. UofL men’s soccer head coach Ken Lolla, along with his Cardinal program, will host the 7th annual “Kickin’ It with JT and Friends” free soccer clinic on Saturday afternoon. U of L Board of Trustees approves university lease agreement with KFC Yum! Center

In Thursday’s University of Louisville Board of Trustees meeting, the members approved changes to the school’s lease agreement with the KFC Yum! Center. The university agrees to pay $2.4 million more per year toward the arena debt, and will also cede control of future dates. Seven Louisville trustees voted in agreement to the new deal, two voted against, and four members abstained from the vote. Two Louisville football stars landed spots on this year’s All-ACC Preseason Football Team. The All-ACC Preseason Football Teams were revealed by the conference on Wednesday. UofL senior quarterback Lamar Jackson made the offensive team, while UofL junior cornerback Jaire Alexander made the defensive team. It’s not surprising that Jackson and Alexander made the cut. Louisville linebackers James Hearns and Trevon Young are expected to compete for “best linebacker in college football” this season, and has now accordingly been named to the Dick Butkus Award Watch List. The U of L Redshirt Senior emerged as one of the best pass rushers in the country last season.
