UofL BASKETBALL | R.J. Evans promoted to acting assistant basketball coach

Interim University of Louisville head men’s basketball coach David Padgett announced today that R.J. Evans has been promoted to the position of acting assistant coach. USL playoffs begin this weekend for our area teams and that includes FC Cincinnati and Louisville City FC. Lou City will face Bethlehem Steele on Friday night at Slugger Field in Louisville. UofL ATHLETICS | Tom Jurich Fired from University of Louisville

The University of Louisville Board of Trustees voted Wednesday to terminate Athletic Director Tom Jurich for cause. The vote was 10-3 in favor of termination. The news comes just days after the UofL Athletic Association voted to terminate the contract of head basketball coach Rick Pitino.
