Louisville women’s basketball’s historic 2017-2018 season came to an end on Friday night in the Final Four. The No. 1-seeded Cards (36-3) fell in overtime to the No. 1-seeded Mississippi St. Bulldogs (37-1) in their national semifinal match-up. The final score was 73-63. The Murray St. men’s basketball team’s season came to an end Friday in San Diego, Ca. The No. 12-seeded Racers (26-6) lost to the No. 5-seeded West Virginia Mountaineers (25-10) in the NCAA Tournament’s opening round. The final score was 85-68. The loss snapped a 13-game winning streak for Murray St. Murray St.‘s Terrell Miller, Jr. led all players with 27 points. The Louisville women’s basketball team took care of business Friday afternoon. The No. 1-seeded Cardinals (33-2) beat the No. 16-seeded Boise St. Broncos (23-10) inside the KFC Yum! Center. The final was 74-42. Sam Fuehring and Kylee Shook each had double-doubles for Louisville. Fuehring had 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Shook had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
