The #14 Louisville Cardinals picked their third straight ACC win by beating North Carolina 87-57 inside the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Cards (23-6, 10-4) remain in the hunt for a double bye in the upcoming ACC Tournament. Meanwhile, the loss denied the Tar Heels (14-13, 3-11) a chance to start a winning streak after they topped Georgia Tech 89-88 last Thursday. The Louisville Cardinals improved to 22-5 (10-4) following at 94-90 victory over Virginia Tech Saturday at the Yum Center. Donovan Mitchell led all scorers with 26 points and chipped in 5 rebounds as the Cards were able to withstand a 3 point shooting barrage from the Hokies. That same mentality is required for players to have when they check into the basketball games.
