Not even a couple lightning delays could slow down FC Cincinnati on Saturday night, as the Orange and Blue beat the visiting Harrisburg City Islanders 3-0. The victory is the third win in a row for FCC after its loss to Tampa Bay earlier this month. The score was 0-0 just over halfway into the first half, when a lightning delay stopped the match. UofL men’s soccer head coach Ken Lolla and his Cardinal program held the 7th annual “Kickin’ It for JT and Friends” clinic on Saturday afternoon. The free clinic, which took place at Louisville’s Mockingbird Valley Sports Complex, was for children and adults with special needs. “We had a great day,” said Lolla. “A lot of participants in what was just equally is how many volunteers we had out.” The event is named after Lolla’s nephew, JT, who has special needs. “He’s (JT)... Read more

The clinic, which begins at 1:30 p.m. ET at Louisville’s Mockingbird Valley Sports Complex, is for children and adults with special needs. The Pleasure Ridge Park Panthers finished 7-5 last season. For the seniors that went undefeated on their freshman team, that isn’t enough- they want rings.
