Former Ballard High School baseball star Jo Adell returned to his high school this weekend to host his inaugural Jo Adell Ballard Baseball Camp. The two-day camp allowed kids to learn baseball skills from Adell. Adell was drafted tenth overall in the 2017 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Angels. Saturday night will be a night that NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Tyler Reddick will never forget. Reddick won the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 at Kentucky Speedway, to claim his first career victory in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Reddick was near the front for most of the night, finishing in second place after both stage one and stage two. The fifth annual Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards were held at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Louisville Saturday night. The fundraising gala “celebrates people from around the world who are making a difference in their communities and beyond,” per the press release. The No. 19 Louisville football team bounced from its loss last weekend to then-No. 3 Clemson by beating Kent St. on Saturday afternoon. The EKU football team is getting ready for its home opener on Saturday evening. The Colonels (0-2) kick off against Tennessee Tech (0-3) at 6 p.m. ET inside Roy Kidd Stadium. Trinity High School 6’5” shooting guard David Johnson committed to Louisville on Friday. Johnson, a class of 2019 prospect, is rated as a four-star prospect by 24/7 Sports and Scout.com.
