Walker says RGA still believes David Williams has a chance, while unions protest

Republican candidate for governor David Williams got a little back-up today from Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, a Republican in his first year in office.
Walker raised money for and then campaigned with Williams in Lexington this morning, then in Edgewood this afternoon.
Their first public event at the Fayette County Republican Party drew about 60 GOP faithful. But it also attracted about the same number of opponents outside protesting Walker and Williams’ stances on organized labor.
Walker’s appearance was another current or former Republican governor who has fundraised or campaigned with Williams, giving a jolt to a sometimes lifeless governor’s race. Watch what was said here:
