Video Wrap Up: GOP convention does its job to fire up Republican faithful

All the speeches, the pageantry and the cheering did its job like a high school pep rally to pump up Kentucky’s GOP faithful for the fall.

Kentucky isn’t one of the eight to 10 swing states that will receive the bulk of attention for Republican nominee Mitt Romney or Democratic President Barack Obama.

But Kentucky delegates, such as Hardin County Judge-Executive Harry Berry, Eddyville lawyer Dailey Wilson and Garrard County Attorney Mark Metcalfe, explained why the convention helped pump up their enthusiasm for the race.
