University of Louisville removed from probation, maintains full accreditation

The University of Louisville announced on Tuesday that it has been removed from accreditation probation, per the university’s accreditation agency. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCC) notified UofL of its decision one year after it initially placed the school on probation. The agency ruled the university has adequately addressed nine concerns in areas of governance, administration and finance.
