Two western Kentucky journalists to leave the press corps

Veteran journalist Bill Bartleman, who has covered politics and government for nearly 40 years for the Paducah Sun, announced he is retiring next month.
And Owen Covington, the editorial page editor for the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer who covered the General Assembly for four years, is leaving to take a job at the Triad Business Journal in his hometown of Greensboro, N.C.
