The U.S. Senate race appears to be tightening, according to two new polls. The Rasmussen Reports poll, which has shown Republican Rand Paul with double-digit leads for much of the election, now has Paul leading Democratic candidate Jack Conway by five points, 47% to 42%,
And the Washington Post is reporting a Democratic poll has Conway leading 49% to 47%.
The Post’s “The Fix” also has an online poll for people to vote on the nastiest race in the country this year. Through the first 127 votes, Kentucky’s Senate race was leading the Nevada U.S. Senate race and 8th congressional district race in Florida.
