Tolling for three bridges as part of the Ohio River Bridges Project is set to begin Dec. 30, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced in a news release Tuesday.
Tolls will affect Interstate 65 travelers who take the new Abraham Lincoln Bridge and renovated Kennedy Bridge and those who cross at the new East End bridge connecting Prospect with Utica, Ind.
Rates will range from $2 to $10 per trip with RiverLink transponders for small, medium and large vehicles, with rates increasing to $3 to $11 for drivers who register their license plates through RiverLink and $4 to $12 for unregistered license plates, according to the release.
RiverLink accounts require a $20 minimum balance and can be created through www.riverlink.com, 855-RIV-LINK or customer service centers at 400 E. Main St. in Louisville and 103 Quartermaster Court in Jeffersonville, Ind.
