To the Beltway: Kentucky's influence in and on Washington

Kentucky can claim the U.S. Senate Republican leader, two congressmen on the House Appropriations Committee and several more with growing clout in Congress. While news organizations closely cover congressional and U.S. Senate candidates as they campaign from the jobs, sometimes it seems like Kentuckians rarely hear from or about them much after that.
“To the Beltway” will track the actions and words of Kentucky’s congressional delegation and keep tabs on other Kentucky-related issues brewing in the nation’s capital.
