The Chatter: Super PAC spending in the Ky. Senate race so far

National super PACs already have spent $330,000 on ads in the young 2014 U.S. Senate race.
The Kentuckians for Strong Leadership group filed its first spending report in the Kentucky Senate race this month with the Federal Election Commission, as the Courier-Journal’s Tom Loftus first reported in a tweet.
The group spent $181,295 to buy ad time for its commercial that seeks to link Democratic candidate Alison Lundergan Grimes to President Barack Obama. Kentuckians for Strong Leadership also spent $13,725 on ad production.
And the Democratic Senate Majority PAC spent $130,000 to buy ad time and $1,325 for commercial production.
