Alison Lundergan Grimes assembled the first core group of her campaign apparatus, as the National Journal’s Sarah Mimms reported Wednesday.
- Grimes is bringing back Mark Putnam of the Putnam group to handle her TV ad production. Putnam produced Grimes’ ads in her 2011 run for secretary of state, including one featuring both of her grandmothers touting her candidacy.
- Polling will be done by Democratic pollster Mark Mellman of the Mellman Group.
- And Democratic consultant Jonathan Hurst, who also worked on the 2011 campaign, will serve as campaign spokesman, Mimms reported.
