New Democratic Sen. Dennis Parrett says more tax credits are key for KY's economy

Dennis Parrett, the incoming Democratic senator from Elizabethtown, said giving businesses tax credits of up to a year’s salary for a new employee would be the best way to generate more jobs in Kentucky.
Parrett gave his take on what he’d like to see the General Assembly do for businesses and the prospects of doing so amid a governor’s race involving Democratic Gov. Steve Beshear and Republican Senate President David Williams.
