McGrath's kids play starring role in latest 6th Dist. campaign ad

04/04/2018 09:53 AM

Days after pulling her ads from Sinclair television stations, Democratic 6th Dist. Congressional candidate Amy McGrath has dropped a new advertisement highlighting her priorities if elected.

McGrath’s children play a starring role in the advertisement, which features her push to protect the Affordable Care Act.

The television spot also references her time as a Marine Corps fighter pilot, flying 89 combat missions.

“I think health care is a fundamental right that should be guaranteed,” she says in the ad. “It’s why I’ll take on anyone who wants to eliminate the Affordable Care Act, including President Trump.”

The 30 second television ad is being broadcast on network, cable, and satellite networks throughout the Lexington media market and will be running alongside the current 60-second ad We’ll see, according to the campaign.

McGrath is vying for the Democratic nomination to take on incumbent U.S. Rep. Andy Barr, R-Lexington, who has railed against the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare.

On the campaign trail, McGrath says that is the top issue.

“There is no issue that I hear more about on the campaign trail than health care. It doesn’t matter if I’m in downtown Lexington or in Powell County — everyone is concerned about making sure their family can afford to see a doctor when they’re sick,” she said. “Winning back Congress has never felt as urgent as it does right now and working to actually fix our healthcare system is another tough mission I’m ready to take on.”

McGrath faces Lexington Mayor Jim Gray, state Sen. Reggie Thomas , Theodore Green, Daniel Kemph, and Geoff Young who are all vying for the Democratic nomination on May 22.

This race is one of the top races to watch in 2018.

When McGrath said she flew 89 combat missions, she admitted to being a war criminal in Iraq and Afghanistan. She should have refused to fight in President Bush’s illegal wars of aggression.

McGrath is also a crook. She, Crooked Reggie, Crooked Jim Gray, and 119 other corrupt Kentucky “Democrats” are rigging the 2018 “Democratic” primary against me by calling the police every time I walk into the KDP Headquarters building in Frankfort or the Fayette County Headquarters in Lexington. That’s illegal.

The most important issue is preventing a nuclear war started by the US Government. I’m the only Democrat who knows how to do that.

I will never stop trying to get these 122 corrupt “Democrats” indicted, tried, convicted, and imprisoned for felony election fraud in 2015 and 2018. The next US Representative will either be Andy Barr again or Geoff Young (D). young4ky.com

Geoff Young (D): Kentucky “Democratic” Party Can’t Stop Rigging Primaries

Please contact U.S. Attorney Robert M. Duncan, Jr. at the Lexington Main Phone Number: (859) 233-2661 – and leave a message asking him to indict 122 powerful “Democrats” for ongoing election fraud. He has the authority to do it, based on the information I mailed to him. If the month of April goes by with no indictments, I am going to demand the immediate arrest of these 122 crooked “Democrats” by federal marshals.

Media Release – For Immediate Release – March 30, 2018 – Lexington, KY

On 3/22/18, the Kentucky “Democratic” Party and/or the “Democratic” Woman’s Club of Kentucky called the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office to send an officer to remove me from the club’s annual meeting. The location was the “Democratic” Party Headquarters building on Democrat Drive.

During a break in the meeting, Deputy Sheriff James Stepp walked up to me. I was sitting at a table in the back of the room minding my own business. He asked me to come outside, and our conversation is summarized on pp. 25-27 of the following document, which I mailed to U.S. Attorney Rob Duncan yesterday (March 29, 2018):

They don’t seem to pay any attention to election fraud, the rights of Democratic voters to participate in fair elections, or the rule of law.”

We favor Ms. McGrath in this race, finding her to be a refreshing voice, grounded in sincerity and sound experience. We loathe her choice of campaign manager in Mr. Nickel-less, but we trust that better judgement will prevail if she’s elected. She’s the candidate that Mr. Barr will most fear of the Democrats running in the primary. She’s the candidate that will make his re-election most difficult.

Hey, Geoff, if McGrath dropped bombs and strafed in Libya, then she did take part in an illegal war, a war for British and French oil supplies. Iraq and Afghanistan were duly authorized by Congress.
