LOUISVILLE — Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer has been meeting with potential businesses and filmmakers interested in the commonwealth as a backdrop to their projects
The Democratic mayor was busy meeting with foreign filmmakers when Pure Politics approached him for an interview in Millionaires Row, and he says those business leaders are impressed with the commonwealth’s biggest city.
“This is a tremendous way for us to grow jobs in the city and the commonwealth as well,” Fischer said of the Derby. “We’ve got people from film, from food, from business, from sports and of course they’re coming to the Kentucky Derby and they’re blown away.”
“It’s a great impression to leave. So they can grow jobs here later.”
