Lexington Cemetery Board "conditionally" approves relocation of Confederate statues

On Monday, Lexington Mayor Jim Gray announced that the Lexington Cemetery trustees have given a “conditional yes” to accepting two Confederate statues, which Gray has proposed be relocated from the Fayette County Courthouse. During the press conference, Gray added that the decision will not be final until the city can meet an agreement with the trustees.
