With predictions for ice and snow on Friday across Kentucky the General Assembly has canceled their normal legislative work day.

Session will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 4pm, the same day as the State of the Commonwealth address from Gov. Matt Bevin. There is a winter storm warning issued for western Kentucky, and Louisville.

Lawmakers will not be in session on Monday, acknowledging Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
