Kentucky political operative and founding partner of RunSwitch PR Scott Jennings has inked a deal with CNN to become a political commentator.

Jennings will officially continuing offering commentary for the cable news network from Louisville and New York as needed. The Kentucky Republican will continue in his role with Run Switch.

“It is an honor to sign with CNN and appear alongside some of the best known and most trusted names in the media industry. CNN has an amazing roster of commentators and hosts; it is humbling and invigorating to discuss with them the events shaping our world,” Jennings said in a statement.

Jennings is a Kentucky campaign veteran as well as veteran of four presidential campaigns. He served as a special assistant to President George W. Bush from 2005 to 2007, and in senior roles during Sen. Mitch McConnell’s re-election campaigns, as well as operating super PACs assisting McConnell and state House Republicans.

The Kentucky political strategist has been a regular presence on cable news since 2016 when he began offering regular commentary on the presidential election.
