Guthrie focused on Congress, but doesn't shut door on running for governor in 2015

U.S. Rep. Brett Guthrie, R-Bowling Green, is among the most-frequently mentioned Republicans in Kentucky who could run for governor in 2015 election but says he has no plans to run at the moment.
Last week, Guthrie said he is focused on getting to serve third term in Congress and representing the newly-drawn 2nd Congressional District that now includes some central Kentucky counties, such as Garrard, Mercer and part of Jessamine.
Guthrie faces Democrat David L. Williams, a perennial candidate, in the Nov. 6 election.
Guthrie said he believes the GOP ticket of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan ticket has a good chance of winning the presidential election and if they do then he will be making some big decisions in Washington, D.C., and he believes that is where his focus should be at this point.
