Grimes says she's being encouraged to run for Senate in 2014 but won't say if she will

National Democrats who visited Danville for the Oct. 11 vice presidential debate and state party activists are among those Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said have encouraged her to run for U.S. Senate in 2014.
Democrats are trying to find a candidate to challenge Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell, who already has raised more than $10 million for his run for a Kentucky record sixth term.
“There has been a lot of encouragement not only here in the commonwealth but also nationally,” Grimes said (3:00). But having been first elected last year, Grimes said her focus is on doing her job as secretary of state.
She also talked about balancing politics with her job as chief elections officer.
