From 'Pure Politics': U.S. Senate candidate Rand Paul discusses education

While improving education remains a key issue in Kentucky, it hasn’t been a primary issue in the U.S. Senate race.
But Republican candidate Rand Paul has consistently said he wants to do away with the U.S. Department of Education. He says he favors local control of most things, including governing and funding of education.
Paul offered details about ways he thinks education can be improved during a roundtable with the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce:
