Operatives debate what's next for Barr, analyze state Senate races

The Republican Party of Kentucky’s Holly Harris and Kentucky Democratic Party’s Matt Erwin bat around the results of the 2010 election.
In the 6th congressional district race, Republican Andy Barr asked for a recanvass — hours after the interview was taped. But Harris said regardless of the final outcome — Barr is down 644 votes to Democratic incumbent Ben Chandler — she said she expects Barr to be back running for that seat in 2012.
And Harris and Erwin chew on a couple of the big state Senate races, in which incumbents such as Republican Elizabeth Tori and Democrats David Boswell and Mike Reynolds were thrown out while others, such as Republican Alice Forgy Kerr in Lexington, survived tough races:
