From 'Pure Politics': Interview with David Adams on health care
10/05/2010 07:18 PM
David Adams, campaign manager for Republican gubernatorial candidate Phil Moffett, discussed the state expansion of health care pushed by Gov. Steve Beshear and approved by the Kentucky legislature this year.
The state’s Children’s Health Insurance Program now covers the cost of premiums for children in families that earn $30,000 or less per year.
The expansion, which took effect this summer, no longer requires families to pay $20 premiums for the coverage, which is part of the Medicaid program.
