Tom Shelton, the Executive Director of the Kentucky Association of School Superintendents, was recently bashed by Gov. Matt Bevin, R-Kentucky, for proposing school teachers and others have their voices heard in the state Capitol, if the special session took place during the school year.

Shelton recently stopped by the Pure Politics studio to discuss the pension situation and areas he felt the Governor’s plan falls short. Shelton is also backing a “shared responsibility” pension proposal, which proposes alternatives to Bevin’s plan.
