Whether you will be watching election results on television Tuesday night or checking periodically on your computer, cn|2’s Pure Politics team has you covered.
Our teams will be covering the Republican and Democratic Election Night events, as well as covering independent candidate for governor Gatewood Galbraith.
Starting at 6 p.m. EST, we will launch our live blog, which will feature news and snippets of interviews from the parties’ event. In addition, former Kentucky secretary of state Trey Grayson — now director of the Harvard University Institute of Politics — will be analyzing the results on the blog along with Democratic consultant Bryan Thomas and conservative blogger Osi Onyekwuluje.
For Insight Communications customers, tune in to a live edition of Pure Politics at 7 p.m. EST. KSTV will air at 7:30 EST. Then Pure Politics will be back for our live “Informed Vote” Election Night special starting at 8 p.m. EST.
Host Ryan Alessi will be joined by former Democratic Secretary of State John Y. Brown III and former Republican candidate for secretary of state Hilda Legg.
They will analyze the election results and get updates from reporters Kenny Colston and Don Weber from parties’ Election Night events.
Again, Pure Politics’ Election Night coverage starts at 6 p.m. EST Tuesday online and 7 p.m. EST on cn|2.
